Compatibility

This site has been built using a combination of techniques. If you're having difficulty accessing some of the pages, it is possible that your browser doesn't allow these techniques to be used on your computer. On some pages, there are "Adobe Flash" presentations, and on others, there are JavaScript pieces.

This site has been tested using the following browsers:

Logging In

Being a member of the Blanchard International site gives you access to research findings and white papers, as well as providing access to secure services - such as electronic assessment feedback.

New Members

• You can become a member either by clicking the link to a secured page, or by clicking the link in the header of each screen.
• Once you've entered your details, you'll be sent an email asking you to confirm your identity.
• Clicking on the link in the email will verify your identity and you'll be invited to log in using your new username and password.
• If you registered at a secured page, you'll be returned to that page so you can continue.

Existing Members

• If you were a member of the pre-2009 version of the Blanchard International website, your details have been brought over to the new site, so you can just log in as you always have. Please contact us if you have any difficulties.

Other Services

• In some parts of the site, we will refer you to services or locations outside the Blanchard International web site. Examples of this reference include:
  • Webinars - you will be referred to the WebEx website and asked to log in independently there.
  • Coaching - you will be referred to the global Coaching.com website (part of the global Blanchard community, but outside our site

Searching for Information

Our site features a search facility that allows you to find a key word or phrase in any of the pages we display. Please note that the search will look for the work or phrase you enter, and it doesn't understand "compound" searches (i.e. searches that contain terms like "xxx AND yyy OR zzz"). If you enter part of a word, it will match with words that contain that part (for example, if you enter "org", you will match with "organisation", "organisation", "organic" and "disorganised"). The search is not case sensitive, so "ORG" is the same as "org" or "oRg" etc.

Navigating the Page

We've set up the site to be as easy to use and intuitive as possible, and here are a couple of tips to help you get even more from it!

• If you click on the "Blanchard International" logo at the top of the screen, you'll always be taken to the home page.
• You get maximum benefit from the site by registering and logging in. This will give you access to all the research papers, articles and so on. When you're logged in, you'll see a "Welcome" message appear at the top right of the screen - if you click on it, you'll be taken to our Member Services page.
• You can easily get to a listing of all of our training programs, by clicking "Programs A-Z" at the foot of the screen.
• If you are looking for something in particular - try the "Search" box at the top right of the screen - just enter your search term and click on the word "Search".
• Printing a page from the site is simple - just do it from your browser's "Print" function. If you're viewing one of the research papers, using Adobe Acrobat Reader, you can save and print from within the window.

Your Privacy

Registration Information

The data you provide at registration is maintained on a secure computer system located in Sydney and managed by our service provider. This information is NOT available to anyone outside your Blanchard International consulting team. We repect your privacy and do not provide your data to anyone. If you indicated that you wish to receive our "Ignite!" e-newsletter, then you will be added to the mailing list for that service. Where we believe an event or publication will be of specific interest to you, we may send you an email with that information - we do not engage in "spamming" vast quantities of marketing material. We understand that your in-tray is full enough as it is! If you would like to be removed from our Ignite! mailing list, please use the email link at the foot of the newsletter to do so.

Instrument and Assessment Information

Depending on the instrument, your response data may be held in our server in Sydney, or may be located on a third-party server overseas (normally, the USA). All Blanchard assessments are hosted on systems that we believe to be appropriately secured, and compliant with our privacy policies. For some instruments, aggregate data may be provided to your team leader - this sort of reporting is normally associated with the "group profile" assessments and no personal identification information is attached to the data. A third type of assessment observes differences of perception between you and your colleagues. The LBAII Profile is one example of this type of report. Given the nature of these reports, it may be possible for the person receiving to the report to identify you by your relationship (for example, if you have completed the LBAII questionnaire for one of your direct reports - they will be able to isolate your responses under the "boss" heading). This is useful to allow continuing discussions, but its important that you are aware that your feedback will be provided in a manner that allow your identity to be determined.
